Brian P. Flanagan, Ph.D. is Associate Professor of Theology at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, where he teaches undergraduate courses in introductory theology, church, and liturgy. He earned his PhD in Systematic Theology at Boston College and pursues research in ecclesiology, ecumenism, and liturgical theology. He is the author of Stumbling in Holiness: Sin and Sanctity in the Church (Liturgical Press, 2018), the co-editor of Liturgy + Power, the Annual Volume of the College Theology Society (Orbis Press, 2017), and is a contributing writer at www.dailytheology.org.
